E-ticketing goes global with Gulf Air

MUMBAI: Gulf Air has extended the electronic ticketing facility across the globe covering destinations in Australia, Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, the Gulf and the U.K. Gulf Air recently extended its e-ticketing platform from Sabre to other global distribution systems from Abacus, Amadeus and Galileo to enable travel agencies to use any of these platforms to issue tickets for travel between any Gulf Air destination.
