Good bowling by Sudhakar

Hyderabad: M. Sudhakar returned figures of eight for 30 for Balaji Colts in its match against VIMCO in an `A' Division two-day league cricket championship match here on Friday. For Balaji Colts, Nazeem scored 105.

Surya, Acharya in final

Surya Pavan defeated Alla Abhishek 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, while Acharya Bharadwaj got the better of G. Pranav Reddy 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the boys singles semifinals of the AITA talent series tennis tournament here on Friday.

St. Josephs wins

St. Josephs Public School, King Koti, downed ICFAI Republic School 34-17 after leading 19-6 at half time in the inter-school (under-15) basketball tournament being conducted by the Hyderabad District Basketball Association here on Friday.

The two top scorers for St. Josephs were Harshal and Suraj with 12 points each. For ICFAI Republic School, Waheed scored 10 points.

Chiman, Manogna triumph

Chiman Prakash Reddy with five points and K. Manogna with four points won the boys' and girls' titles respectively in the Sri International School's open chess tournament here on Friday.
