Back Edible oils strengthen Our Bureau
Mumbai , July 14 All major edible oil prices strengthened further on the local edible oil market on Friday on continued local buying. Groundnut oil raw was up Rs 6 at Rs 518 per 10 kg. Refined soya oil was steady at Rs 405 per 10 kg. Imported crude soya oil was up Rs 2 at Rs 385 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was up Rs 3 at Rs 416 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was up Rs 3 at Rs 343 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was up Rs 5 at Rs 430 per 10 kg. Castorseed August contracts ended higher Rs 28 at Rs 1,606 per quintal over previous close.
Sugar mixed
Sugar spot prices ruled higher on the wholesale market on Friday on continued buying interest amid limited offerings. Small grade (S-30) was up Rs 11 at Rs 1,843-1,881 a quintal, while medium grade (M-30) was steady at Rs 1,872-1,935.
Wheat down
New Delhi: Wheat and non-basmati rice prices drifted in the wholesale grains market on Friday on increased selling by stockists. Wheat dara (for mills) prices dipped to Rs 867-869 per quintal from Rs 870-872, while wheat MP (deshi) ruled flat at Rs 1,175-1,500.
