Gautam in semifinals

HYDERABAD: Gautam Krishna defeated Vijay 11-3, 11-4, 11-0 in the mini-cadet boys' quarterfinal of the AP State open ranking table tennis tournament at the G.S.N. Kumud Pramod Dharia indoor stadium here on Sunday.

The results:

Boys: mini-cadet (quarterfinals): Bharat Sai bt Sk. Yakub 11-2, 8-11, 11-6, 15-13; Jishnu bt Sk. Akram 11-6, 11-9, 11-8; Gautam Krishna bt Vijay 11-3, 11-4, 11-0.
