CA students'conference

KOCHI: The conference of Southern India Chartered Accountants Students' Association (SICASA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be held on July 21 and 22 at Ernakulam Town Hall.

Public Works Minister P.J. Joseph will inaugurate the conference on July 21. Thomas Chazhikadan, MLA, will be the guest of honour and M. Kandasami, Chairman, SIRC of ICAI, Chennai, will preside. M. Devaraja Reddy, Babu Abraham, V.C. James, Reji A. George and other office-bearers of the ICAI will speak.

The theme of the conference is `pratijna' (resolve) to succeed. More than 1,000 students from the whole of South India are expected to attend the conference, according to the organsisers. The SICASA is headquartered in Chennai.
