Chamber leader dead

CHENNAI: The former president of the Andhra Chamber of Commerce, S. Mohan Das, died on Tuesday.

He was associated with the chamber as a member, representing Agrimmcor Limited, since 1964, and had served in its executive committee from July 1981. Prior to becoming its president in 1990-91, he served as the vice-president in 1989-90. The chairman of its luncheon group sub-committee, Mr. Das represented the chamber in many organisations, including the FICCI and the ICC India.
