Sify wins regional level of business quiz

CHENNAI: The team from Sify won The Tata Cruicible - The Business Quiz 2006 Chennai Regional Finals.

Gunaseelan and Vishwajith, the winning duo, collected a cash prize of Rs.60,000, prizes from Titan, gift vouchers from Westside and books from the Tata Group.

The six finalists who contested the regional finals included teams from Citibank, Madras Metallurgical Services, Infosys, Reserve Bank of India and Sify.

Giri Balasubramaniam was the quizmaster for the event.

The Sify team will now battle it out with seven other teams at the national finals in Mumbai on July 23. The winning team will get Rs.2 lakh and other prizes.
