MCH camps
The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad will organise regular coaching camps in different disciplines at various grounds in the twin cities in the mornings and evenings very soon, S.R. Prem Raj, director (sports), MCH, said. Those interested may contact the concerned coaches at the MCH playgrounds or Games Inspectors for membership forms. Women's cricket
The Andhra Pradesh Women's Cricket Association will organise the seventh senior inter-District cricket championship in Bhimavaram from July 25 to 28. The meet assumes significance as the State team to take part in the senior National and other National-level events will be selected based on the performances here.
Inter-Services aquatics
The 56th inter-Services aquatic championship will be held at the Air Force Academy (Dundigal) from July 22. Rear Admiral H.S. Malhi, director, DMDE, Secunderabad, will inaugurate the meet, which will feature swimming, water polo and diving events. Familiar names in the sport like Sujit, Wadve, Rahman, Abe Jose, Brij Mohan, Martin Joseph will be in action during the six-day meet.
Cricket tournament
Sports Coaching Foundation will organise the Eddie Aibara floodlit knockout cricket tournament, sponsored by SBI Personal Banking Division from July 28. Entries close on July 26. For further details call 9396559440.
