Sonata Software Ltd has reported a growth of 71 per cent in net profit and 46 per cent in revenues for the first quarter ended June over corresponding quarter last year.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 8.75 crore on revenues of Rs 43.8 crore for the June quarter this year against a net of Rs 5.12 crore on revenues of Rs 30.13 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a consolidated basis, it reported a net profit of Rs 9.61 crore on revenue of Rs 108.1 crore, a growth of 95 per cent and 26 per cent, respectively, over the corresponding quarter last year.
