Indian junior team for Singapore

Chennai: India will be sending an under-18 team for the four-nation hockey tournament to be held at Singapore from August 3 to 6.

The preparatory camp began here on Friday and will continue till the departure of the team on August 1.

NIS coach Pathania is in charge of the camp and will accompany the team for the tournament.

K. Jothikumaran, Secretary, IHF, said Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan are the other teams in the fray. — Hockey Correspondent
