HYDERABAD: The left-over plots in various layouts, including Nandagiri hills in Jubilee hills, which the HUDA auctioned on Friday generated an income of Rs.72.87 crores.

While a total of 56 plots were auctioned, only 51 plots were sold. Of 11 plots in Nandagiri hills, there were no takers for three plots. The highest bid for a plot in the sought-after layout was Rs.65,000 per sq.yard and another 541 sq.yard plot went for Rs.61,000 a sq.yard. Two other plots in the same layout were bid for Rs.46,000 each, just Rs.1,000 more than the upset price of Rs.45,000 per sq.yard fixed by the HUDA. Clearly keen bidding was missing for the Nandagiri hills plots in this round.

In Nalagandla, all the five plots were taken and the highest bid was Rs.17,600 a sq.yard and the lowest was Rs.10,000. The lone plot in HUDA Techno Enclave, Madhapur, got a single bid at Rs.55,000 per sq.yard. In HUDA Trade Centre (Ramachandrapuram), the only bid for a commercial plot was Rs.13,000 a sq.yard and for two plots in RC Puram Ring Town the maximum bid was Rs.15,500 and minimum was Rs.15,000 a sq.yard.

    No auction today

In Miyapur Residential Complex, the maximum bid was Rs.30,500 per sq.yard and the minimum was Rs.10,500 a sq.yard.

There were no takers for two plots of group housing in Asifnagar New Layout and one plot in Banjara hills Road No.10.

There will be no HUDA auction for left-over plots on Saturday as notified earlier, said HUDA Secretary and Auction Officer P.Venkatram Reddy.
