Workshop on `Right to Information'

HYDERABAD: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) is conducting a workshop on "Right to Information" on July 24 at the DST auditorium in the university.

Wajahat Habibullah, Chief Information Commissioner, Government of India, will inaugurate the workshop while C.D. Arha, State Information Commissioner, will deliver the keynote address. Seyed E. Hasnain Vice Chancellor of UoH will preside.

The workshop will deliberate on various themes like Legal Foundations of Right to Information Act, RTI and Good Governance and Implementation of RTI - Issues Involved.

Prof. Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR, Hyderabad, Prof. F.D. Vakil, former Vice-Chairman, Minority Commission of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. P.K. Mohanty, Director General, Centre for Good Governance, Hyderabad, will be among the speakers.
