Teachers told to inculcate sense of responsibility among students

BANGALORE: Auden Public School, Girinagar, organised its investiture ceremony recently. Parashiva Murthy, Commissioner for Traffic and Road Safety, was chief guest. He pinned the badge and handed over the school flag to the head boy. This was followed by the oath taking.

Mr. Murthy told the students to know the utility value of the knowledge they have gained at school. He told the teachers to develop a sense of responsibility among students.

Investiture ceremony

Venkat International Public School, Rajajinagar, organised its investiture ceremony recently. Elections were held for head boy, head girl, deputy head boy, deputy head girl, captain and vice-captain of all the four houses.

T. Balakrishna, chairman of the institution, handed over the school flag and badges to the student leaders. This was followed by the oath taking ceremony.

The new leaders pledged to fulfill their duties and take the school to newer heights. Sulochana Balakrishna, principal of the school, was present.

Disha 2006

CMR National Public School conducted its annual fest Disha - 2006 recently. Srinivasa Raju, Managing Trustee of Navachethana Trust, inaugurated the fest and spoke on environment and culture.

There were many competitions lined up during the fest. National Junior College bagged the first prize in fashion show and computer gaming. Vidyashilp Academy walked away with first prize in debate and in the bargain won watches.
