Woman loses purse

Bangalore: Two men diverted the attention of a woman and took away her purse containing Rs. 150 in cash and a mobile phone in Indiranagar police station limits on Friday.

The police said that around 1 p.m. Kashia, a resident of Motappanapalya, was driving in her car on CMH Road. Two men, who came on a motorcycle, told her that petrol was leaking from her vehicle. After she stopped her car and was checking the petrol tank, the two stole her purse that was on the front seat of her vehicle and sped away.

The CCB officials on Thursday arrested Syed Firoze alias Munna (40) of Kadugondanahalli on charges of drug peddling and seized from him 10 gm of brown sugar.
