Sanyo BPL launches new products

BANGALORE: Sanyo BPL Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Sanyo Electric of Japan and BPL, has launched products across categories such as televisions, washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves and audio. Keiji Oshima, President and Chief Operating Officer, Sanyo BPL, said, "The dual brand strategy is paying rich dividends where Sanyo and BPL products are targeted at different consumer segments. We plan to increase our distribution network to 16,000 outlets in the first year.''
