Depressed? Help is at hand

THE SPATE of suicides by students disappointed with examination results and the increasing bouts of depression in young people have shaken the conscience of many.

To help those in need of urgent counselling, Christ College, in association with Rotary Bangalore East and NIMHANS, has set up a helpline, Sahai.

Those in need can call 40129129 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The callers can also take appointments for counselling.

The timings may be extended depending on the demand.
