Dubai: Police in the United Arab Emirates have rescued three Indian workers who were allegedly beaten and locked up in their labour camp by their employers. A police team from Radhidiyah on Friday broke the lock of the room where Karthik (24), Julian (30) and Govindan (25), all hailing from Tamil Nadu, had been locked up. The police action came after Indian Consulate here intervened in the matter based on a tip-off from their colleagues in the Dubai National Construction Company. PTI
