Hitachi sets up new business unit

CHENNAI: Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. has established a new unit in its Mumbai office, aimed at project management support in software product development by Hitachi's outsourcing partners in India. Daisuke Yokotsuka, Senior General Manager, Offshore Development Management Centre, said in a release, "The new unit called Offshore Development Management Centre (ODMC) will optimise product quality, schedule management, change management and others. Hitachi India has a plan to set up the same function in Chennai in the near future."
