Save heritage campaign

Bangalore: As part of the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations, programmes to create awareness on protecting monuments will be conducted at Hangal (Haveri district), Kikkeri (Mandya district), Avani (Kolar district) and Itagi ( Koppal district), Suryanath Kamath, president, Karnataka Itihasa Academy, said here on Thursday . The "Save Historical Heritage Week" will begin on August 16 at the M.E.S. College in Bangalore. The 20th annual conference of the Karnataka Itihasa Academy will be held at the Raghavendra Math in Nanjangud.
