KOLKATA: Mangal Singh Champia of Andhra Pradesh produced a masterly display in the National-ranking prizemoney archery championship at the SAI, Eastern Centre, here on Friday. The Jharkhand-born archer proved a point with a tremendous display in the recurve section of the FITA round to top the field with a total of 1338. Jayanta Talukdar, arguably the best in the business, was second with a total of 1322 while Tarundeep Rai of Army was third with 1325. Reena Kumari of Indian Railways emerged the best in the women's FITA round with a total of 1321, ahead of Dola Banerjee (1308). The squad: Men: Jayanta Talukdar, Tarundeep Rai, Rahul Banerjee and N. Ravindhar. Women: Dola Banerjee, Reena Kumari, Sushma and Laxmi Rani Majhi. Coaches: Purnima Mahato and Satyadev Prasad. Manager: Abhijit Dasgupta.
