Hero Honda hikes prices

Hero Honda, which faced margin pressure in the first quarter, has raised prices of its two-wheelers by Rs 500 to Rs 2,000. Citing higher costs for key raw materials such as steel, rubber and aluminium, the two-wheeler manufacturer has raised prices by Rs 1,000 on the CD Dawn, and Rs 750 on the Splendor Plus, the Passion Plus and the Achiever.

The Super Splendor and the Karizma will be costlier by Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 respectively. The prices of the CD Deluxe, the Glamour and the Pleasure have been left untouched.
