Back Southern teams for managers contest

The teams from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and A.V. Birla Madhura Garments have been selected to represent the southern region in the 32nd national competition for young managers to be held in Delhi. According to a press release from the Madras Management Association, which hosted the regional competition in Chennai, the annual event organised by the All India Management Association offers young managers an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, experience, professional excellence, creativity and leadership skills. This year the theme is strategies for building sustainable Indian brands. The competition is first conducted at the regional level in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and New Delhi. Two teams from each region are selected for the finals in New Delhi. In the Southern region competition held on August 11 and 12, a total of 38 teams participated. The winning team from NTPC was represented by Mr Mohit Yadav, Ms Roshni Majarukar and Mr Gopal Shankar Saxena. The runner-up team from A.V. Birla Madhura Garments was represented by Mr Vikas Purohit, Mr Rajshekhar Kolkar and Mr Nilesh Kanchan.
