Four killed in as many accidents

BANGALORE: Four persons, including three pedestrians, were killed in as many road accidents in the city on Sunday.

The police said Krishna Murthy (35) was killed after a lorry rammed his motorcycle on Tumkur Road, off Dasarahalli, around 9.30 p.m. He was a resident of Hegganahalli in Sanjaynagar. The Peenya traffic police have registered a case and seized the lorry.

A pedestrian aged around 40, whose identity is yet to be established, was killed after a tanker hit him on the Outer Ring Road, near Horamavu junction, around 11.15 p.m. The Banaswadi traffic police have registered a case.

Another pedestrian, Anil Kumar (28) of Jharkand, was killed after a car knocked him down near Keertinagar in Marathahalli around 4.30 p.m. The Airport traffic police have registered a case.

Arul Das (35), a pedestrian, was killed when a private bus ran over him near Sanjaynagar Cross on Bellary Road around 9.30 p.m. The R.T. Nagar traffic police have registered a case.
