BANGALORE: Sleuths of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) on Monday night arrested seven persons in connection with the double murder of twin brothers, Lava and Kusha, in Shimoga recently.
Gang rivalry
Following gang rivalry, Lava and Kusha, who were accused in several criminal cases, were allegedly hacked to death by armed men on Sagar Road in Shimoga. The twin murder had sent shock waves in the Malnad town. The police said that they arrested the seven while they were suspiciously moving near KSRTC Layout on Uttarahalli Main Road here. The names of the arrested were given as Annappa alias Anni, Raghavendra, Prashanth alias Kotresh, Lakshmana, Venkatesh, Suresh and Ramesh, all from Shimoga. A police team from Shimoga is likely to come here to take the arrested into their custody.
