Swaraj Mazda in alliance with Isuzu

CHENNAI: A six-member delegation from Isuzu Motors of Japan has visited the Swaraj Mazda factory at Ropar, Punjab, in connection with laying of the foundation for the Isuzu assembly plant and also setting up of bus body building facilities. According to a release, the alliance would facilitate export of luxury buses through Isuzu's distributors. The capital outlay for the plant and bus body facilities will be around Rs. 500 crore.
