Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will conduct a two-day training programme on fast food preparation on August 22 and 23. A release said that the fast food industry had been growing tremendously over the past decade. In general, fast foods were rich in calories but dressing with salads, fruits, spices and vegetable toppings could enhance the nutrient content. Those interested could pay a training fee of Rs. 500 through demand draft drawn in favour of Dean (Engineering), made payable at Coimbatore and addressed to the Professor and Head, Post Harvest Technology Centre, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641 003.
