Removing tattoos becomes important where jobs require you to be "tattoo-less" such as in the Army or in the airlines service. Bangalore has two tattoo removal clinics purportedly the first of its kind in India, where not just tattoos are removed but also other pigmented lesions such as birthmarks, moles, and freckles. They have "Q Switched ND YAG Laser" which provides treatment that is "quick, easy, relatively painless and leaves no scars". The laser system will be operational from August 23 in the two clinics.
