Assistant professor of engineering college ends life

HYDERABAD: An assistant professor of M.V.S.R. Engineering College at Nadargul on the city outskirts hanged himself in his house at Champapet on Wednesday night.

Police said the reasons behind the death of K.V. Srinivas, 28, were yet to be ascertained. The incident occurred when his family members were away. He was found dead by apartment security guard Maniyappa Reddy. The security guard and other flat owners informed the police.

Gold medallist

Police inquiries revealed that Srinivas was a gold medallist in M.Tech. He had been working for the college for the last one year.

He got married three months ago. The police registered a case of suspicious death under Section 174 CrPC.
