Old man found dead near bus stop in Alwal
A 60-year-old man was found dead near a bus stop at Balajinagar in Alwal on Friday morning. The victim was identified as T. Linpoji of Laxmi Nagar in Yapral. The police are suspecting that Linpoji might have died after an unidentified vehicle hit him while he was crossing the road.
One killed as two cars collide
An elderly man was killed after the car in which he was travelling along with his son collided with another car near Golconda on Thursday. N. Narasimha (60), a native of Nalgonda district, came to his son Raju's house at Mehdipatnam two days ago. They were going towards Golconda when the accident occurred. Raju, who suffered injuries, is undergoing treatment in a private hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
Man's body fished out from Hussainsagar lake
The body of a man aged around 45 years was fished out from the Hussainsagar on Friday. The police said the man, who was clad in green T-shirt and brown trousers, could have committed suicide by jumping into the lake. The body has been preserved at Gandhi Hospital mortuary for identification and autopsy.
Youngster killed after his motorcycle skids
A 24-year-old youngster, who suffered severe injuries after the motorcycle he was riding skidded on the road at Gachibowli on Tuesday, died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital on Thursday. The police said J. Ramesh of Nanakramguda lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve and fell down resulting in serious injuries.
