Jairaj's inspection

Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) Commissioner K. Jairaj on Friday inspected the site in Malleswaram where the proposed grade separator will come up.

Mr. Jairaj had a Volvo bus take a turn from the narrow 7th Cross to 4th Main — a proposed traffic diversion for vehicles once the grade separator comes up and Margosa Road becomes a dead end. "The bus was able to pass easily. But I will have to undertake a thorough investigation to see whether the project is feasible," he said.

"The main aim of the investigation would be to see whether the bottlenecks we are trying to remove by the construction of the grade separator will create bottlenecks elsewhere," said Mr. Jairaj.
