HYDERABAD: The BJP said here on Saturday that it would respond to the expectations of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) about a possible tie-up between the two parties only its leaders K. Chandrasekhar Rao and A. Narendra resigned from the Union Cabinet. However, the party has expressed serious doubts whether the two TRS Ministers would resign at all. Addressing a press conference, BJP national secretary Bandaru Dattetreya said the TRS leaders owed an explanation to people on why it had joined hands with Congress, fully aware that the latter had marginalised the separate Telangana movement in the sixties. The TRS should also explain to people what made it join the Congress-led Governments at Centre and State. Mr. Dattatreya said the BJP would take up a programme to sensitise people about irregularities in land transactions on the city outskirts from August 22 to 24.
