IIM-Calcutta pact with NIIT

KOLKATA: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, and NIIT, have entered into a strategic alliance to offer executive development programmes through virtual classrooms. Through this alliance, working executives will be able to undergo management education in the weekends. The two institutions on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect. IIM Calcutta will offer two programmes — one on strategic management for senior executives and another on applied finance for executives in finance functions. The course fee is Rs. 2 lakh.
