PG Sports Council triumphs

Mysore: PG Sports Council, Mysore, pipped city-mate St. Philomena's College on better goal-average to won the title in the Chief Justice Homegowda memorial inter-collegiate football tournament here on Monday. PES (S), Mandya finished third.

The results: semifinal super-league: PG Sports Council bt Maharaja's College 5-0; St. Philomena's College, Mysore drew with PES (S), Mandya 0-0.
