Housing Board plots auctioned in Kukatpally

HYDERABAD: A plot in the HIG phase of Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) was auctioned on Tuesday for Rs. 40,300 per sq.yd. ,while a plot in MIG phase managed to get Rs.12,100 per sq.yd.

The Andhra Pradesh Housing Board (APHB) had invited sealed tenders for eight properties spread over different phases of Kukatpally Housing Board, but could sell only six today.

A plot measuring 172 sq.yds. failed to interest bidders on grounds of Vaastu while one more was withdrawn from auction following a court stay, according to Andhra Pradesh Housing Board officials.

Highest bid

The plot in HIG Phase V received the highest bid of Rs. 40,300 per sq.yd., and an 88 sq.yd. house in LIG was auctioned for 25.55 lakhs.
