Gold, cash seized

CHENNAI: Income Tax officials seized gold worth Rs. 55 lakh and Rs. 50,000 in cash from a passenger at the airport on Wednesday.

The officials intercepted Ravi Mohan, who arrived by an Air Deccan flight from New Delhi, and seized 6.5 kg of gold and cash from him.
