Special trains for Onam

They will be operated to Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore Tatkal booking is available in all classes in these specials

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate Onam special trains from here to Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore.

Train no. 0635 will leave Chennai Central at 10 p.m. on August 31, September 2 to 5 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 4.30 p.m. the next day. Train no. 0636 will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8 p.m. on September 1, 3 to 6 and arrive here at 12.15 p.m. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 12 sleeper class, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Train no. 0633 will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8 p.m. on September 9 and arrive here at 12.15 p.m. the next day.

Train no. 0634 will leave Chennai Central at 4 p.m. on September 10 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7 a.m. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 12 sleeper class, three general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

Train no. 0661 will leave Chennai Central at 4 p.m. on September 1, 3, 5 and 9 and reach Mangalore at 7.45 a.m. the next day. Train no. 0662 will leave Mangalore at 4 p.m. on September 2, 4, 6 and 10 and arrive here at 8 a.m. the next day. The composition of the trains will be one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 12 sleeper class, two general second class and two luggage cum brake van coaches.

Reservation will commence on August 24.

Tatkal booking is available in all classes in the above specials, says a railway release.
