NEW LIFE: Rahul Mahajan and Shweta Singh in Mumbai on Tuesday.
MUMBAI: Rahul Mahajan, son of the late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, on Tuesday married Shweta Singh from Delhi.
The wedding was held at Blue Sea, a marriage hall at Worli sea face in central Mumbai near the Mahajan residence. The vedic ceremony started in the morning and the couple were married at an auspicious point of time around 11-30 a.m. `Mangalashtakas' were recited at the beginning of the wedding, family sources said.
The wedding was a simple affair. BJP leader Gopinath Munde, who is the brother-in-law of Pramod Mahajan, groom's mother Rekha Mahajan and sister Poonam received the guests. None from Pravin Mahajan's family attended.
