Man murders wife

CHENNAI: Suspecting her fidelity, a loader in the Tambaram vegetable market murdered his wife and has since been absconding. According to Tambaram police, Selvaraj, residing in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, often quarrelled with his wife Kavita (26). On Wednesday evening, he picked up a fight with his wife. In a fit of rage, Selvaraj allegedly strangled her and left her unconscious. When the couple's children returned from school, they alerted their grandmother living in the nearby.

Kavita was rushed to hospital where she was declared dead.
