Boost to tourism infrastructure

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Thursday decided to increase the cap on Central Government's contribution for development of infrastructure in identified tourism circuits to Rs. 50 crore from Rs. 8 crore and in identified tourist destinations to Rs. 25 crore from Rs. 5 crore.
