DoT invites bids for USO mobile project

NEW DELHI: Close on the heels of mobile operators coming under the ambit of the Universal Services Obligation Fund (USOF), the Department of Telecom (DoT) has invited expression of interest (EoI) from operators and infrastructure providers to participate in the USO project for setting up and managing passive infrastructure to provide mobile services in rural and remote areas. The deadline for submission of EoI is September 18.
