CHENNAI: Adyar-based Bala Vidya Mandir will set up a school at the mini township coming up at Perambur. The school recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Kalpathi Properties, the real estate wing of SSI Ltd, which is behind the township project. The promoters will provide land and other infrastructure to set up a school with a student base of 1,500. Residents of the township, which will have close to 5,000 apartments, will have preferential admission.
