Man assaulted by public

BANGALORE: A suspected Christian missionary was assaulted by the public at Bellathur village under Kadugodi police station limits on the outskirts of the city on Friday evening.

The police said that around 7 p.m. a group of people objected to Prabhu reportedly trying to convert people in the village and assaulted him. Another person who defended Prabhu was also manhandled. The public handed over Prabhu to the police. The Kadugodi Police have registered a case and are investigating.
