Visit to orphanage

BANGALORE: NCC cadets of Baldwin Girls' High School visited Jeevitha Anathashrama, a home for orphaned children, recently.

Cadets of the Army wing led by officer Umera Parveen distributed sweets, stationery, and clothes to the children of the Jeevitha Anathashrama.

They also interacted with the children and had a dance and singing session.

Exhibition

Sindhi High School, Kumarakrupa Road, held an exhibition recently. Projects prepared by students of classes I to VIII were on display at the show, which was inaugurated by Vinod Kumar G. Hemdev, secretary of the school. Students prepared charts on topics related to social studies, science, mathematics, English, Kannada and Hindi.

Trekking expedition

As part of its diamond jubilee celebrations, Bangalore Military School organised a trekking expedition for Class XII cadets in the Himalayas. The team left for New Delhi on August 21.

Brigadier Clement Samuel Commander, Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area, wished the team all success.

The trekking, in and around Hemkund Sahib, the valley of flowers with the base camp at Joshimatt, began on August 26.
