Inzamam surpasses Jayasuriya

Lahore: Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq became the most capped one-day player, surpassing Sri Lanka batsman Sanath Jayasuriya's 364 appearances.

Inzamam, who made his one-day debut in 1991, has so far scored 11500 runs (including his 44 against England at Rose Bowl on Tuesday) at an average of 39.93 with ten centuries and a record 83 fifties.

After taking over as captain in 2003, Inzamam has played 76 ODI matches, winning 46 of them. — UNI
