Aga Shahi is dead

Islamabad: India-born former Foreign Minister and veteran diplomat Aga Shahi, a typical establishment man who strongly advocated Pakistan going nuclear, died on Wednesday after protracted illness.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement here describing Mr. Shahi as an eminent international personality and that his dedicated services to promote the cause of Pakistan would be long remembered and respected by the people of this country.
