Bangalore: The $ 22 billion Reliance ADA Group is soon to launch its radio station "Big FM" with a common frequency of 92.7 across 45 stations. The first phase will cover Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Tarun Katial, chief operating officer, Adlabs Radio, said, "We are adopting a two-pronged launch strategy. While the metros are ideal to establish brand recognition and recall, the other virgin markets are completely new and fresh to explore, giving us an opportunity to provide an entertainment medium to the listeners."
Growth prospects
According to NRS reports, radio is the media with the highest and fastest paced growth prospects in the country today. The revised licence fee structure - from a flat fee model to a revenue sharing one announced in 2005 has been an advantageous move for the Indian Radio Industry. The Reliance ADA Group has geared up to tap the tremendous market share that is present, he added.
Book released
MindTree Consulting, an international IT and R&D services company, has initiated a communication strategy, highlighting the importance of integrity in organisation building. On Thursday, it released a book titled `All About Integrity', for its stakeholders, including its employees and partners. MindTree Consulting chief operating officer Subroto Bagchi said, "The idea behind this book is not to scare people, but to reinstate the importance we give to our values, of which integrity is the keystone. This book is a step for us to align the diversity of talent at MindTree with the company's core values, in our effort to develop a high achieving organisation built on the principles of honesty and openness." The demand for talent in the IT industry today was at its peak, and with this demand came the challenge of building a shared understanding within an organisation, of what was integrity and what constituted a breach of integrity, he said.
