COIMBATORE: Kotak Life Insurance has drawn up a plan to service Tirupur and Erode from its nodal centre in Coimbatore and seeks to increase its sales manager force here. According to a release, the company has completed one year of operations in Coimbatore and is targeting a first year premium income of Rs. 10 crore from the region during this fiscal. It will also expand its operations in Tiruchi and Madurai. N. Venkatagiri, Vice-President, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, said that since the inception of the Coimbatore branch, about 1,000 lives had been covered and the company had registered a first year premium income of Rs. 6.5 crore from the region.
