Book in Tamil on service tax

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Zone of Central Excise has brought out the third edition of the booklet on service tax in Tamil. In a release, the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Coimbatore Zone, J. M. K. Sekhar, said statutory provisions as on August 17 had been updated in the booklet. It contained answers for frequently asked questions and specific information on 40 select services. The booklets would be available free of cost to service providers and the public through the help centres established by the Department. Coimbatore Zone had eight help centres at Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tiruchi, Madurai, Sivakasi, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli.
