Sunlit Solar starts module manufacturing

COIMBATORE: Sunlit Solar Energy, manufacturer of solar water heaters and solar lighting systems in Coimbatore, has established a factory to manufacture photovoltaic modules. The new factory, set up at Arasur, will have a capacity to manufacture 1.5 MW of photovoltaic modules a month. It will be used for both exports and the domestic market. The company was making about 300 systems of solar water heaters a month and about 200 systems of solar lighting. It planned to increase this three-fold. It has clients in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
