HYDERABAD: The Film Producers' Council has imposed a ban on actor Prakash Raj following a complaint lodged by the producer of a film under production `Siddhu,' in which he was cast. Producer Jyothi Prasad contended that he could not complete the film for the past three years as the actor had `abstained from shooting' though only three days of work was left to be finished. The film's shooting began in 2003 and the producer said he had suffered Rs. 1.5-crore loss. The council clarified that the ban would not be applicable for Prakash Raj's films that were under production. He is pitted against Chiranjeevi in `Stalin,' set for release this month. The actor was unavailable for comment.
